I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside so many of you in this work. When I first began, I offered this as a free service to my community, and I’ll continue to hold space for those who need free support. That being said, the time I’m devoting has grown significantly, and in order to sustain this work long-term, I am shifting to a contribution model. For those who are able, I ask for $50-100 per session, based on your comfort. We can also barter, if you'd like!
As this grows, I hope to step back from teaching extra university classes and devote more of my time and energy fully to this practice, while still being able to offer pro bono support to those who wouldn't otherwise have access. In these ways, your contribution not only supports our work together, it also helps make this service more widely available to others in the community.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with children, families, veterans, and first responders. For the first half of my career, I focused on supporting children of all ages and abilities, including those with developmental and behavioral challenges. During that time, I gained extensive experience in diagnosis and support of children and their families both at home and in school.
In more recent years, my work has centered on the unique challenges faced by veterans and first responders. I am well-versed in PTSD, Operator Syndrome, and acute trauma. My approach integrates both mind and body. I believe that stress and anxiety disorders are not only rooted in the mind, but are also deeply connected to how our bodies carry and process experiences.
Much of my current research and practice is in the emerging field of psychedelic therapy. I offer preparation and integration coaching, consulting for organizations in the psychedelic space, and collaboration on research projects—whether to contribute to the broader scientific community or to support grant-funded initiatives. I also am an assistant professor of Psychology.
*I recommend 3-4 sessions for preparation, starting 4-6 weeks ahead of your planned psychedelic experience. Integration work is 2-3 sessions. 1 sessions as soon as possible after the experience, 1 a week or two later and the other about a month out. Of course, this can be modified to fit each unique experience. I do find that preparation work, up front, really opens up a lot of doors during your psychedelic experience.
While I am not currently a licensed counselor, I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and a Ph.D. in Psychology, with a focus on consciousness and the use of psychedelics for well-being. I have acquired a lot of knowledge and experience over the past 20 years. My role is to walk alongside clients and organizations with insight, curiosity, and a commitment to practical, grounded support.
